Artist: Jerry Joslin
"Banish the Night" personifies day and night. On a deeper level it is a study of duality. Day is suggestive of all the positive elements of the human psyche, i.e., love, hope, goodness, beauty and so on; Night espresses in body language and form just the opposite. It's a sort of good guy, bad guy theme, with Good triumphing over Evil as Light displaces Dark.
