Bruce Fontaine lives near Salem, Oregon and has been a long-time potter. Bruce's humorous "Face Vases" are a popular feature of the Wood Gallery collections, and they make great gifts. Bruce creats his vases in a variety of finishes and glazes. He is "phasing out" terra cotta finishes, and has invented a barium-based glaze he refers to as "Bari-Blue." Other glazes and finishes include a "chocolate," black and a verde gris/copper patina. These vases make great conversation pieces, but they are also functional. Typical selections range from about 8" high to well over two feet.
