Michael Theile lives in Arizona and been constructing "tongue drums" for a number of years. Theile's drums are constructed of selected hardwoods--both exotic and common--and are tuned to relative pitches for the most pleasing rhythmic sounds. Not quite a marimba and not quite a drum, these unique musical instruments can provide visual and auditory pleasure. Each drum is signed by Theile.
