Grand Illusions is a production team who have arrived at several ways to tease and delight the interest of everyone. Their signature creation, referred to as the "Pit and Pendulum" features a "Blackburn Pendulum" suspended over a bed of fine silica. As the pendulum swings it creates "lissajous" patterns and (what seems like an illogical thing to do) alternates between clockwise and counter-clockwise movements.
